Amazing Adventures in Babysitting

The screaming began shortly after 2AM. Alarmed to have awakened in an unfamiliar surroundings, the little guy was seemingly traumatized. After a changed diaper and forty minutes of cuddling with G Pappy (their loving nickname for their God-father) he was again fast asleep.

Around 8AM, the little princess decided she was ready to awaken. She crawled on the couch with me to watch a bit of wtol. G Pappy was going to be on the news this morning. (He did an excellent interview about the upcoming Drop Out Prevention Summit.) About 20 minutes later as the interview was wrapping up, we were joined by the little guy and a manly sized code brown! Glad the interview was over cause the adventures in stop for no one!

Bath time, breakfast, then crayons galore. I’m sure this day has so much more in store!

I am so glad that these little ones and their mom let us “practice” on them. We have lots of good times, mixed with some trouble.
